Would you like to enhance your personal reading experience?
Whether you're a member of a book group or a solitary reader, you will gain analytical skills for a deeper exchange of ideas with an enriched understanding from the literature you read. These instructor-led courses (organized by Bend Parks & Rec) are held in a relaxed, book club-style setting and give you valuable methods to:
- Creatively analyze literature
- Refresh or gain knowledge of literary terms, devices, and techniques so you can articulate what you see and feel when you read
- Examine book content to find connection and meaning to real-life experiences, giving you new ways to think about what you gain from a novel

East of Eden, by John Steinbeck
